As far as I could debug it by now, it seems to be an internal problem of Bibble5, on which the libraries of oneiric respond differently compared to those of natty. I had a special situation (inconsistency between database and pictures on disk) which caused the crash, but that problem existed definitely before upgrading to oneiric, and with natty it did not cause any problems.
Tracing B5 shows that it tries to load several libraries not existing in oneric, and it's hard to tell what sort of trouble this could cause. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/886913 Title: oneiric breaks 32-bit applications due to incomplete 32bit libraries To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ia32-libs/+bug/886913/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
