These packages are for gutsy. If you are on Feisty or earlier, you can either try to use distribution-independent packages or compile from upstream source (both described on http://www.openprinting.org/download/printing/esp-gpl-ghostscript- merge/README) or rebuild the Ubuntu packages.
To rebuild the Ubuntu packages download the files from http://www.openprinting.org/download/printing/esp-gpl-ghostscript-merge/ into the same directory.
