Same here, but no difference using lightdm, gdm or even kdm.
Configuration: ldap users, home directories mounted via nfs. Local users
can login graphically, ldap users can login on a terminal without any
problem, but not via X. After login, the logtin dialog disappears and
the mouse cursor can be moved, but nothing else happens.
