Public bug reported:

I'm running ubuntu x86_64.

Steps to reproduce:
sudo apt-get install python-librdf
gdb --args python /usr/share/doc/python-librdf/examples/example.py

The debian package in unstable is quite old, but the maintainer has more
up-to-date packages in experimental or at
http://download.librdf.org/binaries/debian/unstable/
That is to say, the crash may already be fixed somewhere.

** Affects: redland (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
