Are you doing this?
1. Open Simple Scan
2. Click "Scan"
3. Click "Save"
4. Click "New"
5. Repeat from 2
If so, you can scan all your photos at once (each scan will add a new
page) and then when you save them as "Photo.jpg" then each photo will be
saved but the filenames will be "Photo.jpg", "Photo-1.jpg", ...
