My sound worked fine in edgy and went away in feisty, I saw someone with the exact same card in the forums and almost the same model computer and their fix was adding the following line to their /etc/modprobe.d/alsabase file:
options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1 model=3stack This made my sound work also, but when I put headphones in my pc speakers still play just like his. He said his mic wouldn't work I haven't tried that yet. Seemed to me like more tweaking of the alsabase file would probably fix everything totally but I have no idea what I am doing I just added a line to a text file.
