I ran "udisks --monitor" and let it go for over 5 minutes and this was all I got.
phil@phil-desktop:~$ udisks --monitor Monitoring activity from the disks daemon. Press Ctrl+C to cancel. changed: /org/freedesktop/UDisks/devices/sr0 changed: /org/freedesktop/UDisks/devices/sr0 phil@phil-desktop:~$ gvfs-mount -o Monitoring events. Press Ctrl+C to quit. Drive connected: 'CD/DVD Drive' Volume added: 'DVDVIDEO' It seems as if it's detecting the disk now and just not mounting and unmounting it automatically. It wasn't even doing this a couple of days ago. I could put a disk in and open System>Administration>Disk Utility and couldn't see any media detected. I am going to try and provide screenshots of the Disk Utility with the disk in and out. ** Attachment added: "Disk In" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/888257/+attachment/2592005/+files/Screenshot.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/888257 Title: CD/DVD Burner Won't Mount Discs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/888257/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
