oh i just call those tty1, tty2 or runlevel 1, runlevel 2. anyway i dont get the error there either so i guess that concludes that it is an x error. our input device sections are the same, perhaps soemone else who reads this who doesnt expirirnce this problem could post their section for comparision. although it looks fine i cant imagine much else it could be from other than xorg.conf. i am not a developer though so i am not that knowledgeible.
