Public bug reported:

Gnome VFS functions return MIME type "x-directory/normal" for URIs of
kind "file:///path/to/dir/", but there seems to be no definition for
such a type in Oneiric. As a result programs which uses e.g.
gnome_url_show() to open such URIs no longer work.

In Natty "x-directory/normal" was provided by Nautilus, but in Oneiric
it only provides "inode/directory".
