Created a 'rhythmboxtestuser' and copied a single folder of music (10 songs) to that user.
When using the 'Move to trash' function, the music file is correctly placed in the trash can. (The file is still added to the 'missing files' list, which is a bit strange, but maybe it is so by design.) So. The problem appears to be user-specific. I didn't change any properties for the test user, so it uses the brand new (optional in 11.04, mandatory in 11.10) user interface, whereas my 'real' user has reverted to the old Gnome UI. I don't know if that's relevant or not. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173343 Title: Moving files to trash results in a permanent delete To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/173343/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
