Public bug reported:
With Oneiric, I converted to using KDE/Kubuntu, but I still have a lot
of Gnome installed. I'm quite sure I used virt-manager under KDE, but
something must have changed through updates. Recently, virt-manager
became unusable - it can still connect (remote is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS), but
when I try to open a VM, I get this:
Error launching details: Configuration server couldn't be contacted:
D-BUS error: Method "Set" with signature "s(ib)" on interface
"org.gnome.GConf.Database" doesn't exist

This is related to Bug #842478 in that it occurs in the Gnome-specific
part of virt-manager.
Other Gnome programs like epiphany do not have problems running under
KDE.
** Affects: virt-manager (Ubuntu)
