I have the same problem, but I don't get a detailed error message. If I start KGet from the console, it says after the crash (after pressing Pause): KCrash: Application crashing (KGet), and that's it.
After restarting KGet, it usually has forgotten that download that was paused, unless KGet has before been closed successfully and then restarted. When one particular download causes this problem, then after restarting KGet it will happen again and again when trying to pause this download. Quitting KGet and restarting it helps sometimes, but not every time. Just now I restarted it about five times until I could pause the download. I can't see a pattern in what files cause this and which ones don't. All the files are fairly large between about 350 MB and 1 GB. It doesn't seem to matter much has been downloaded of it. Also not from which site it comes. -- kget crashes after pausing files in Edgy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/77993 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
