Fabio

After trying I know not what altogether including sudo apt-get update and sudo
apt-get upgrade it now appears to be working fine.  The only problem I have yet
to solve is how to get Libre Office back on the launcher.

After upgrading to 11.10 LIbre Office failed to work although abiword was
OK.  I uninstalled Libre Office and reinstalled - still no joy.
The next time I booted although the mouse cursor moved around the screen
