@Michael Basse; I'm quite optimistic about your (re)solution with the rt2860.bin modifier (#97). Used for about 15 hours now and NO panic whatsoever. Also some strange sideeffects on my LAN are vanished. Will keep testing for now... (eeepc 1000H with 3.0.0-12-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP i686 i386 GNU/Linux)
