I tried the 3.2.0 kernel with and without the "pcie_aspm=force" cmdline, this has no impact on the problem.
With the 3.2.0 kernel I see 3 traces : # grep -F "cut here" /var/log/syslog Nov 14 20:48:14 simon-laptop kernel: [50312.377564] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 2.6.38 Nov 14 21:00:04 simon-laptop kernel: [ 137.980978] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 (pcie_aspm=force) Nov 14 21:00:04 simon-laptop kernel: [ 138.351242] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 (pcie_aspm=force) Nov 14 21:00:04 simon-laptop kernel: [ 139.498226] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 (pcie_aspm=force) Nov 14 21:00:04 simon-laptop kernel: [ 139.498802] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 (pcie_aspm=force) Nov 14 21:21:21 simon-laptop kernel: [ 174.248205] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 Nov 14 21:21:21 simon-laptop kernel: [ 174.613106] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 Nov 14 21:21:21 simon-laptop kernel: [ 175.760158] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 Nov 14 21:21:21 simon-laptop kernel: [ 175.760957] ------------[ cut here ]------------ <-- 3.2.0 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/890303 Title: [i915] stack trace on resume To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/890303/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
