Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20

On a core duo cpu, you can't access the cpu sensors using lm-sensors
with a kernel < 2.6.22 unless you apply a kernel patch adding the
coretemp module.

http://www.debianhelp.org/node/5156 has the patch and how to apply it.
I've built a custom kernel, applied the patch, upgraded lm_sensors to
2.10.2, and now can access both cores temperature sensors directly.

** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
