Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
On a core duo cpu, you can't access the cpu sensors using lm-sensors with a kernel < 2.6.22 unless you apply a kernel patch adding the coretemp module. http://www.debianhelp.org/node/5156 has the patch and how to apply it. I've built a custom kernel, applied the patch, upgraded lm_sensors to 2.10.2, and now can access both cores temperature sensors directly. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.20 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- centrino duo sensors need a kernel patch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/115386 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
