Nothing happens when I right-clicked. It happens 100%. If I had to guess, it may be that the z-index of the dock has gotten into an invalid state. At one point I noticed that clicking f2 showed the close button in the upper left of the screen, but the applications dialog did not appear. Going to a new desktop where there were no open dialogs, I saw the F2 menu. So perhaps this is the same issue, and the right-click menus were just under other windows? If I see it again I'll post, but it may not happen as I am stopping using ubuntu having bought a mac.
