When the installer crashed the computer locked up. All I was able to do was to turn it off. The computer responded to no inputs from me. I have since attempted to start the Live CD to no avail. The Live CD begins to boot up but locks at some point and will then no longer respond. So I believe that I do not have access to the files that you have mentioned.
