Running newaliases
newaliases: fatal: /etc/mailname: file has 2 hard links
This caused postfix to fail to start. Can you give the results of:
ls -ld /etc/mailname
ls -li /etc/mailname
cat /etc/mailname
and finally, unless the above shows that /etc/mailname is a directory,
sudo find / -xdev -inum `ls -li /etc/mailname | awk '{ print $1 }'`
2>/dev/null
