Some more explanation why this is a bug. I use 3 computers at home. They all get their IP addresses through DHCP from FRITZ!Box DSL router. IP addresses sometimes change. Especially because I use both - cable and WLAN. There is no way to connect from one computer to the other using hostname. This is very annoying.
