I tried with mainline kernel v3.2-rc2-oneiric and same problem exists. We have also changed hardware (the raid controller and it's battery) and it didn't help either.
This problem exists in Dell R510 Which is allmost the same as R710. Atleast both have same Perc 6/i (MegaRAID SAS 1078) raid controllers. So this same problem might exist in Ubuntu certified hardware (http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/hardware/200905-2781) ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing oneiric ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/891115 Title: megasas driver - device goes to offline To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/891115/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
