These is a long list of bug fixes between 2.2.0-beta4 (the latest
packaged version) and 2.2.1 (the latest upstream version) that require
an updated package. Changelist is available here:
http://netatalk.sourceforge.net/2.2/ReleaseNotes2.2.1.html - there are
numerous crash fixes and other bug fixes which are currently unavailable
to Ubuntu users unless they build from source.
