Public bug reported:
The "Connect Automatically" option on network connection mobile
broadband screen for new connection as well as existing connection has
no effect.
It appears like this bug is with Ubuntu release 11.10. It was working
fine with release 11.04 and the mobile broadband used to connect
whenever the computer was started. With release 11.10, even though this
option is checked, it seems to have no effect and I have to manually
connect the mobile broadband connection every time.
