Public bug reported:
After upgrading from Hardy to Lucid, cannot use Nebula DVB-T PCI after
boot until (a) try to watch tv (using mythtv) (b) stop mythtv-backend;
(c) modprobe -r dvb_bt8xx; (d) modprobe dvb_bt8xx (e) restart mythtv-
backend.
A similar bug (368215) was reported for Jaunty but never fully resolved.
