Public bug reported:
My config is similar to that reported in bug # 27596 (dual boot & dual
HD). The install of 6.06 from CD provided with book "Ubuntu Linux for
Non-Geeks" completed normally. However frequently but not consistently
during re-boot the GRUB loading err 2 (during phase 1.5) occurs.
Sometimes it results from VIEWING ONLY the HD partitions using Win/XP
SP2 'Disk Manager' but also occurs after normal shutdown.
The only recovery is to RE-INSTALL Ubuntu after which both OSes boot &
run properly.
Plz advise this NEWBIE (who is getting very good at installing 6.06 but
would like to learn more).
