** Description changed:

- I had outstanding wifi performance with Ubuntu 11.04. I upgraded and
- then did a clean install of Ubuntu 11.10. I am not able to connect to
- wifi. I can see the networks, but can not connect. I have been on the
- Ubuntu Forums since the release date and nobody has been able to help.
- The only suggestion is to down grade to Kernel 2.6. Please help, I am
- not the only person with this problem.
