New info: My computer has two 3.5 speaker jacks. I have a 2.0 speaker system with USB for power connected to one of the jacks. A pair of headphones are connected to the other jack. I have both devices connected daily and adjust volumes to switch from one to the other device.
It seems that after the upgrade, I can't have both devices connected. When I unplug the headphones, I get sound in the speakers, but it disappears when plugging in the headpghones again. While the actual problem persists, the workaround (switching between plugged/unplugged headphones) is simple enough that I consider this issue solved as far as I am concerned. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/881574 Title: No sound after kernel upgrade To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/881574/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
