The author of comixcursors told me a solution on http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php?content=32627
For dark backgrounds one can patch the hairline color of text and crosshair cursors by setting HAIR="..." the in *.CONFIG files and then rebuild comixcursors. Just get the sources from the link above and read the README. To build you need to install the packages "imagemagick" and "librsvg2-bin". And if a change does not get visible after "make install" then try to logout + login, especially when you are in VirtualBox. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/844603 Title: comixcursors text pointer is hardly visible on black terminals or webpages To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/comixcursors/+bug/844603/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
