Freemat is completely dead as a matter of fact. It hangs indefinitely at startup. The symptom reported above is the sign that when freemat starts it spawn a gui process (which works) while its processing thread hangs.
This can be better evidenced by starting freemat without its gui as freemat -noX or freemat -nogui or freemat -e. In this case, freemat simply hangs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/578740 Title: freemat provides no results/output To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/freemat/+bug/578740/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
