Thank you for your bug report.
There should really only exists one daemon at a time. If this is still
happening, could you please provide more details?
- When you get more than one daemon, are both owned by the same user or is one
of them owned by "root"?
- How long does it take for them to eat up lots of memory? Is it gradual over
time, or triggered by some particular action (like searching with Unity)?
