Problem description: Multiple applications crash randomly. It seems that once one application crashes other applications will also crash. I have been seeing a fair few firefox, thunderbird, rhythmbox crashes but that's just because I tend to use these most often. When applications start to crash, gnome-panel will sometimes also crash. I don't see any pattern in the crashing. I have attached my xorg.conf file. >From my motherboard specs the on-board graphic card is a: SiS 661GX xorg.conf seems to point toward "vesa" as being the driver. I will attach an output of lsmod and lspci just in case that help. How do I obtain debug versions of the backtraces? Thank you for your help.
