I tried again and it works (almost) :-)

Although my physical hardware switch is enabled, the wlan card's state
is "Hard blocked: yes". "rfkill unblock all" does not unblock it. I have
to disable and reenable the hardware switch manually and then I get wlan
connection right away :-)
