Public bug reported: Happens randomly, and very specific: when you close a Nautilus window. I have ibus enabled with Chinese PIN YIN Input Method, and seldom use it. Just ibus running in background causes the issue. When the bug occur, desktop items disappear, Unity launcher behave erratically and CPU usage stays at 100% for ibus-daemon process. After a while, python goes to 100% as well and stays there for some time. To make desktop become normal, have to logoff/login again.
