Public bug reported:
Steps to reproduce:
1) add "Force Quit" applet to panel
2) get a large file (70 megs in this case) and rename it to end with .sh
3) open the file with gedit. gedit freezes.
4) click on "Force a misbehaving application to quit" applet
5) the applet starts, but clicking anywhere does nothing. Pressing esc does
nothing.
I didn't find a way to exit this situation without killing gnome-session
from VT and this caused unsaved work to be lost.
