Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 10.10, 64 bit
Compiz version: 1:0.8.6-0ubuntu9.2
When starting Compiz, window borders aren't displayed, and an error
similar to this occurs:
Starting gtk-window-decorator
/usr/bin/gtk-window-decorator: Screen 0 on display ":0.0" already has a
decoration manager; try using the --replace option to replace the current
decoration manager.
Work-around:
Using 'metacity --replace' and then 'compiz --replace' in a terminal could fix
this problem (although not always) and restarting X or rebooting the system
also may solve it.
** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
