I've the same problem. I got it with an normal update at the 22th of
Nov. So now since two days the keyboard and touchpad of my laptop don't
work. The keyboard as well as the touchpad are listed at the output of
"xinput --list" but I didn't get any reaction with "xinput --test".
First I tought it's maybe because of the update of the linux kernal. But
starting with the old version don't bring any help. The strange thing is
that everything is working fine when I start Ubuntu in recoverymode.
Another thing is that the FN + Display combination works as well but no
other key.
