Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better.
I can confirm that when using the package unity on Ubuntu 11.10 that I
can reproduce the bug. Therefore I have set this bug to confirmed.
Furthermore I have Pidgin starting at login, it starts minimised and every time
I have this issue at boot.
What happens for me:
- Pidgin appears minimised in launcher (either from login or using steps
provided above)
Note that there is an arrow next to the Pidgin logo indicating that focus is
given to that application, however the app cannot be unminimised by clicking on
the icon in the launcher.
To resolve this issue i have to:
- Open another window
- Give that Window focus
- Click back to pidgin
Hope this bug is resolved soon.
Andy
