dwmw2, you mean me? have a look at http://patch- tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/vpnc/0.5.3r449-2.1/04_debianitis - it's one big patch, unfortunately, but in addition to the two-liner discussed in this bug and uploaded to Debian yesterday, those are all the changes to vpnc-script
