Thanks for your bug report. From your report it is a little unclear to
me how the bug manifests itself and I'm thus having difficulty assigning
a package, though it sounds like the kernel is probably at fault.
Forgetting the wubi problem for a moment, do you experience the hang
while booting into the LiveCD, or after you successfully install the
system and reboot?
If it occurs after you install the system and reboot, are you able to
get to the splash screen and/or the login screen? Again, if this occurs
after installing and rebooting, can you boot safely by selecting the
"recovery mode" of the kernel from GRUB?
