Public bug reported:

i have downloaded the i386 iso image which was on
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ on 22.08.06
1) when i click on <esc> at the very beginning and choose linux-expert it
answer it has not got any kernel for this command;
2) i choose plain linux and the boot window appears, gnome starts but i am
advised that it could not load themes so some programs could not work properly;
3) i click on install icon and it starts the installer which crashes when i
should choose the language; i'm asked to report two syslog files (if i am not
mistaken /var/log/installer/syslog and /var/log/syslog) and /var/log/partman, i
have chosen to mount a floppy and copy there the three files, cp cannot find
/var/log/partman);
4) i shutdown and try to open the files which should be in the floppy on
another computer, but they do not show up.

** Affects: Ubuntu
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
