System: Ubuntu 11.10 with gnome desktop and with xfce desktop, fully
updated
Start the system as Xubuntu with the xfce desktop
If I drag a short-cut (launcher) -- eg of a folder -- from the desktop
to the xfce panel, then it fails to drop into the panel as a copy.
(Note: If I instead start the system up with the gnome desktop, then
this drag+drop works fine in the gnome panel.)
