installed, fully updated
Start the system as Xubuntu, that is, with the xfce desktop
Since upgrading Ubuntu from 11.04 to 11.10, KPatience (kpat) is missing its
Menu bar. As a result, things like Preferences can no longer be set, Help is
no longer available, and Exit from the File menu is no longer accessible.
The documentation of KPatience does not describe this event, and there
appears no obvious way to restore the Menu bar.
