Public bug reported:

The g and y keys used to work: g showed a previous subtitle, y showed the next
one.
Now, they show some arbitrary other subtitle, and cannot be used for
synchronization.

Expected: the g and y keys show the previous/next subtitle, thus
allowing to synchronize

Actual: the g and y keys show some other subtitle in the past/future, I
suppose, with some overflow because several forward keys eventually
bring you back.

I can provide example files, but not as a bug report attachment.
