It seems that Gnome-RDP ignores all or at least some compression
options. In connection properties menu under VNC it is possible to
choose the compression level and image quality (jpeg compression) of the
tight compression algorithm but it is ignored. If I choose quality 0 in
tightvncviewer and connect I got the usual jpeg fractals and the
connection is very fast but with gnome-rdp and the same settings it
takes ages to get the first image and the quality perfect. Maybe gnome-
rdp ignores the quality settings or which is more likely an other
compression algorithm is used. I have tested is with Gnome as vnc host.
