Public bug reported:

The Kubuntu Installer for 11.10 on my dmraid device errors out when
attempting to install grub2 on one of my computers. In the installation
process I specified the correct boot partition, but it appears as if the
installer tries to pick /dev/sda which is not the partition that I told
the installer to use.

I am using a Raid 0 configuration
I partitioned two 500GB drives for 1TB space
The /boot partition is 200MB and partitioned as EXT4
I am using a Promise XT2200 Raid Card

I have tried installing kubuntu with and without specifying manual
partitioning, and as indicated before specified the boot partition for
grub installation when doing the manual partitioning options.

Thank you.
