Not so easy, cause you will have to wait till update-manager pops up with a notification for new updates.
But if it pops up, just try [alt]+[tab] to recognize, that it has opened at the front, but not activated the window. If you were working in fullscreen in e.g. firefox you don't get back to firefox with [alt]+[tab] since you first change to the update-manager window at the front. I didn't test out how it reacts if i start update-manager manually. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/888438 Title: Update-manager window does behave abnormal under unity To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/888438/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
