This is now the permanent state of my system following the upgrade from 11.04 to 11.10. When I perform the deletion it appears to work, but it does not persist. Despite repeated attempts to edit the Other Software sources list through both the Software Centre or via Synaptic, the removed entries re-appear following a re-boot and the - Last updated - displays as the last time I attempted the removal rather than the last time I update. As also mentioned I cannot edit any of my software reviews entries in the Software Centre. Any edit results in a - Edit failure - message.
