I'm using Ubuntu 11.10 64 bits, and after apt-get install fprobe, I try to run -
sudo fprobe -i eth0 127.0.0.5:5555
bind(): Address family not supported by protocol

It seems another user also hit the same problem and did ask in the
ubuntu forum but no further answer -
