hi guys I have a similar problem when printing pdf's. They come out well when printed from LibreOffice, but in the exported pdf documents some characters are dropped and replaced by small empty square boxes. It seems to happen randomly between documents, however in one documents it's always the same characters. They look perfect on screen.
When I edit an existing document and save it under a new name (like monthly invoices) the dropped character changes. I can not relate this to a specific template, layout or something that was originally made in another text processor. It makes no difference which printer I use (HP LJ2500, HP Photosmart c7200, HP c4500 or a Samsung clx3175, depending on my location). Ubuntu Oneiric amd64, Dell Latitude 131L, daily updates. Let me know if you need more information. cheers Tom -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/897605 Title: Letter "o" replaced by apostrophe on printout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/897605/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
