It was ubiquity,... never did figure out what that was.. but yes... now I know... I was installing with Wabi... AMD 64 .. I cannot load Ubuntu. I only get to a flashing cursor and it hangs... If I reboot, I get the menu selection choice.. for Windows or Ubuntu... I choose Ubuntu and get the grub prompt.. I have tried the fix from what appeared to be the same problem that I listed on the bug report.. but then it reports that the search cannot find the file Thanks for your assistance Bob
